The Application Browser lets anyone in the company modify, extend and integrate enterprise applications at any moment, according to individual needs. Through this single interface, employees have both visibility into each separate application, and the ability to access and join together functions from those applications. Employees can perform their jobs more effectively using new forms they create with point-and-click ease.

Because each enterprise application has its own set of unique terms, Above All Software created a searchable Application Dictionary that understands and stores related items under a common classification. This allows employees to search for both existing and newly created forms and to link application logic together using common nomenclature.

This illustration shows the underlying architecture of a form built using the Application Browser. Application logic from the various systems within the company have been exposed as Web services. Application Browser accesses these Web services and builds an Application Dictionary of the application logic (inputs and responses) available in all these Web services. You can then use the Application Browser to build forms that include any of the Web service operations. For example, you can build a form that links information from a Sales database with employee records from the Human Resources database. Application Browser creates default forms for you automatically based on the information in the Application Dictionary. Any modifications you want to make to the forms can be made with point-and-click ease.

Knowledge Packs

Above All Software also offers Knowledge Packs, which contain all the nomenclature knowledge necessary to relate two or more disparate applications. Customers choose the Knowledge Packs that correspond to the applications in their organization and the areas of integration or extension desired. These packs are loaded into the Application Dictionary offering customers "out of the box" cross applications.

Above All Software offers additional return on Web service investments, extends the life of existing information systems and saves time and costs associated with traditional EAI approaches.
