Roger Sippl is the founder and Chairman of Above All Software and is recognized as one of the most influential software
visionaries in hi-tech with over 25 years of senior operations and chief executive experience. At Above All Software he
is responsible for defining the company’s technology vision and direction.
Sippl was the founder of Informix Software in 1980. Under his direction, Informix pioneered SQL relational databases,
4GL application development tools, and OLTP database technology. Acquired for $1B by IBM in 2001, Informix grew to become a leading
provider of RDBMS technology with more than 100,000 customers world-wide.
After Informix, Roger became co-founder and chairman of The Vantive Corporation, a CRM leader and successful
public company which now forms part of the Oracle family of applications following their acquisition of PeopleSoft. He also founded
Visigenic Software and in the 1990’s helped shape the rapidly growing application server market.
Sippl is also know in Silicon Valley as a successful venture capitalist having invested privately in several successful
software companies, including Illustra (acquired by Informix), Broadvision, SupportSoft and Red Pepper (acquired by PeopleSoft).
Jon Temple is President and Chief Executive Officer of Above All Software and is
responsible for setting the Company’s strategic direction and for the day-to-day leadership and management of the company.
Temple has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry and comes to Above All Software from
Business Objects where over a 12 year career he held a variety of executive sales and operational leadership positions. Temple most
recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Americas where he had full P&L; responsibility for Business Objects
North and Latin American operations, and was responsible for managing a team of more than 1,200 employees, including sales, marketing,
professional services, customer support, finance and administration. During his tenure, Business Objects grew to become the leading world-wide
business intelligence vendor with annual revenues of more than $900m.
Prior to Business Objects, Temple had held a variety of sales and management roles during an 8 year career at Information Builders.
Chris Maloney is responsible for Above All
Software’s product development efforts. Prior to co-founding Above
All Software, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Pencel
Corporation. There he designed and led development of a 4GL
application development system that enables developers to quickly
create business applications that allow "occasionally connected"
handheld computers to utilize enterprise databases and applications
systems.
Previously, Chris served as Vice President of
Technology for Visual Components, Inc. While there he identified and
implemented the product strategy from startup through successful
acquisition by Sybase, Inc. Visual Components created application
software components for client/server development tools. Earlier in
his career, Chris held several positions at Informix Software, Inc.
including Vice President of Product Development. Chris created the
specification for the Informix flagship product Informix-4GL. Later
he was responsible for development of Viewpoint, a Windows based
tool set for "non-programmers".
Neil oversees client implementations,
training and technical support. Neil is a 20 year veteran
of the software industry who has a repeat track record
of helping companies rapidly expand their annual revenues
through sales, business development and professional services
initiatives. Neil spent seven years at Informix Software
where he was employee number 12 and four years at Visigenic
Software. His most recent roles were VP, Professional
Services positions at Andromedia, through their acquisition
by Macromedia, at Banter, a developer of enterprise customer
service systems, and at AtHoc Software, who produces web
based software for enterprise alerts and notifications.
As Vice President of Marketing, Sanjay is responsible for Above All’s global marketing efforts
including product marketing, corporate communications and outbound marketing. Sanjay brings more than 14 years
diverse technology experience including specific expertise in the areas of web services, product and go-to-market strategies,
and community development. Prior to joining Above All, Sanjay was Vice President of Marketing at Qualys, a leading network
security provider. Sanjay also spent over 6 years at Sun Microsystems where he held various marketing leadership positions,
most recently heading Sun Developer Network where he managed marketing, program and engineering teams working on Sun’s
developer program. He also led product marketing for Sun’s web, application and integration server lines. Prior to Sun, Sanjay
managed market development and platform marketing for NetDynamics, an early pioneer in the application server space.
